The museum’s collections date back to the nineteenth century and show a strong link with the local area and are an important cognitive tool for understanding the nature and human settlement of Trentino, over a period of time spanning almost 300 million years.
The exhibits on display are only 1% of the entire collection. The collections are constantly cared for and studied by the staff and are permanently available to the public and the scientific community.
