The museum is open from Monday to Sunday. From March to June from 9 am to 5 pm, in July and August from 10 am to 6 pm and from September to December from 9 am to 5 pm.
It is closed in January and February.

Guided visits must be booked and are for groups of a minimum of 10 people (the visit lasts one hour and costs €4).

There are several car parks near the museum, subject to payment in the summer (€2 per hour).
For the disabled there is a reserved car park.
If you come by mobile home, the nearest free parking is 5 km away in Bezzecca.
Tourist coaches can stop near the museum entrance for the time it takes to drop off and pick up visitors. However there are dedicated coach parking spaces along the lakeside.

Yes, small animals that can be carried are allowed into the museum.
Larger dogs are allowed into the museum’s gardens as long as they are on a lead.
Yes, the daily ticket allows you to go out and come back into the museum on the same day, except for the first Sunday of the month when entry is free for everyone.
