Riparo Dalmeri

An archaeology site that will take you on a journey through time, discovering how our ancestors lived about 13,000 years ago, after the shrinking of the glaciers from the last great ice age.
Take part in a packed programme of activities and enjoy a unique experience, learning all about the life, art and spirituality of Homo sapiens.

From Trento (94 km):
Take the Valsugana road to Primolano, then the fork for Enego. Follow signs for "Piana della Marcesina/Rifugio Barricata". About a kilometre after the mountain refuge, on the left you will see a forest road. A 20-minute walk will bring you to the “riparo” or shelter.

From Asiago (30 km):
Take the Provincial Road SP 76 towards Enego, and after Foza take the fork to "Piana della Marcesina/Rifugio Barricata". About a kilometre after the mountain refuge, on the left you will see a forest road. A 20-minute walk will bring you to the “riparo” or shelter.

Due to the severe weather that hit Trentino at the end of 2018, this site has been closed. All summer activities have been momentarily suspended.
