Viote Alpine Botanical Gardens Monte Bondone

The Viote Alpine Botanical Gardens, covering 10 hectares at 1,538 m a.s.l., are some of the biggest and oldest in the Alps.

A treasure chest of Alpine biodiversity with rockeries, lakes and peat bogs where visitors can admire over 2,000 species of rare plants from all over the world that have been collected since 1938.

You can buy your ticket at the gardens ticket office.   

You can book guided visits and all the other activities by calling +39 0461 948050 and then pay for them at the ticket office on the day of your visit.  

Yes, there is parking just a few metres from the Gardens, free of charge and accessible every day with no time limits.  

The guided visits are all in Italian, however you can book a guided visit in English or German for groups of minimum 10 people, at least 2 weeks’ in advance.

The historical part of the Gardens is not wheelchair accessible but we have created a very interesting alternative itinerary. 

No, animals are not allowed in, not even small ones.  

There are however kennels where you can leave your dog safely during your visit.
